Black SBR rubber sheet comes with a Shore A hardness of 55 and a specific gravity of 1.30, offering enhanced softness and a lighter build for applications where flexibility and ease of handling are priorities. The lower density compared to heavier grades results in a more compliant surface, making it suitable for low-pressure sealing, cushioning layers, and protective linings that require a softer touch. Although SBR rubber does not offer resistance to oil, acids, or strong weathering, it remains a reliable option for indoor applications where mechanical wear and surface protection are more relevant than chemical exposure.
