Understanding the rubber sheet production process is key to selecting the right industrial material. At Tianjin China Rubber Co., Ltd., we utilize a 6-step precision manufacturing flow to ensure every roll meets international standards for durability and performance.
Step-by-Step Manufacturing Workflow
Step 1: Raw Material Mixing
The rubber sheet production process starts with compounding. We blend high-grade polymers (SBR, NBR, EPDM) with reinforcing agents and antioxidants to meet specific hardness and tensile requirements.
Step 2: Sheeting and Calendering
Using heavy-duty calender machines, the mixed compound is pressed into a continuous sheet. This step controls the initial thickness and ensures a smooth surface texture.
Step 3: Curing & Vulcanization
This is the heart of the rubber sheet production process. We operate 56 drum-type curing presses (Rotocure) for long rolls and flat-bed vulcanizers for extra-thick sheets. Precise temperature and pressure control ensure optimal cross-linking.
Step 4: Cutting & Trimming
Automatic and semi-automatic machines cut sheets to custom sizes and gasket shapes for precise industrial fitting.
Step 5: Inspection & Quality Control
Every batch is tested for hardness, tensile strength, elongation, and visual consistency to ensure zero-defect delivery.
Step 6: Packing & Storage
Final products are packed securely and stored in our 1,930㎡ warehouse, maintaining the perfect condition for international dispatch.
